CNC Machinist

Job Description The CNC Machinist is responsible for independently operating lathes and mills to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role involves setting up machines, interpreting and writing CNC programs from scratch, selecting appropriate tools, and ensuring quality through careful inspection. The machinist will also perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and adhere strictly to safety protocols while documenting processes and managing materials efficiently. Responsibilities Set up CNC lathes and mills for production runs Interpret and write CNC programs from scratch Select and install cutting tools and fixtures Perform quality inspections to ensure precision and compliance Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Monitor production processes and maintain safety compliance Document machining processes and material usage Handle materials related to machining operations Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in CNC machining Technical certificate in CNC machining or related field Proficient in CNC programming and writing programs Skilled in blueprint reading and precision measurement Experience with machine maintenance and problem solving Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures Competent in manual machining techniques Effective communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
