Full-Time Clinical Faculty: School of Nursing

Overview: Quinnipiac University's School of Nursing invites applicants whoare dynamic educators and clinicians for a full-time, 12-monthclinical track faculty position at the rank of Assistant orAssociate Professor. We are particularly interested in doctorally-prepared candidateswith clinical practice and teaching experiences teaching across thelifespan with prelicensure BSN students. The position supports theSchool’s competency-based curriculum aligned with the AACN 2026Essentials, emphasizing learner-centered approaches, clinicaljudgment, and integration of evidence-based practice. Facultymembers in the School of Nursing contribute to the development ofpractice ready nurses through innovative teaching strategies andmentoring. Successful candidates will have experience teaching conceptssuchas person-centered care, population health, interprofessionalpractice, scholarship and inquiry, and informatics and healthcaretechnology with patients across the lifespan. About the School/Program: The Quinnipiac University (QU) School of Nursing has been educatingnurses for more than 50 years. Our mission is to developexceptional, practice-ready nurses as leaders in science-based,holistic care through innovation and inclusive education. TheSchool of Nursing was recently designated as a National League forNursing (NLN) Center of Excellence. The Center is locatedat our North Haven, CT campus and encompasses 325,000 square feetdesigned for collaborative learning including 48 pro-sectionstations, 16 standardized patient rooms, an exceptional healthsciences library, 7 high-fidelity simulation rooms including 2 ORsand a PACU, health assessment and skills labs, advanced diagnosticimaging equipment and classrooms outfitted with the latesttechnology. The NCN Program is offered at the Center for Education,Simulation and Innovation (CESI) at Hartford HealthCare.
