Wholesale Assistant

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Temporary Wholesale Assistant to support the women's footwear division during a busy market and selling season. Based in New York, NY , this temporary assignment is expected to run from December through approximately the end of February , with a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week . This role will support wholesale operations, sales reporting, showroom activities, and client coordination.

Job Duties Include:

• Support wholesale order entry, account updates, and day-to-day sales administration
• Assist with showroom preparation and provide client-facing support during market appointments
• Prepare weekly sales reports, trackers, and other wholesale reporting
• Coordinate product samples, merchandise, and post-market photography needs
• Partner with logistics and operations teams to ensure showroom and product needs are organized and executed
• Maintain accurate account information and provide additional support to the wholesale team as needed

Job Qualifications Include:

• 1+ year of experience or relevant internship within wholesale, merchandising, planning, sales, or fashion
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working with wholesale systems and learning new technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in client-facing environments
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Footwear, accessories, luxury, or fashion industry experience preferred

Pay: $26-$27/hr
