Financial Analyst

In this newly created role, you will work directly with the controller and director of finance on a variety of accounting and FP&A functions and initiatives. Some ResponsibilitiesInclude: Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting packages. Maintain accuracy of general ledger. Assist in the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Assist in analyzing actual vs. budget performance and developing insightful commentary to drive decision making. Contribute to the development of dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools. Assist in Ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis. Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and enhance controls. Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather financial inputs and insights. Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and reporting enhancements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. A minimum of 1-2 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience. Advanced Excel skills. Prior exposure to or interest in FP&A activities including financial modeling, or business analytics. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous learning. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or working towards becoming licensed. Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Familiarity with financial dashboards or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Insights). #J-18808-Ljbffr
