Job Description Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Outpatient Location: Ventura, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Setting: Onsite, Outpatient About the Opportunity A well-established behavioral health program in Ventura County is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join their outpatient team. This role focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Position Highlights 100% outpatient child & adolescent psychiatry Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) – no call required Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment Strong administrative and clinical support Opportunity to serve a diverse and underserved population Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents Provide medication management and ongoing treatment planning Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and care teams Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination Maintain timely and accurate documentation Qualifications MD or DO – Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship preferred (or equivalent experience) Active California license (or ability to obtain) DEA required Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred Experience in outpatient or community-based pediatric psychiatry Team-oriented with strong communication skills Compensation & Benefits Salary: $300,000 – $375,000 annually 401(k) with employer contribution Paid Time Off (PTO) CME allowance dedicated CME days Comprehensive benefits packageaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
