Assistant Project Manager

Overview Goyette Mechanical is a reputable mechanical contracting company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. With a strong presence in the industry, Goyette Mechanical has been serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients for 98 years. Goyette’s growth into the State of Ohio has led to multiple successful projects and the construction of a new regional office location in Hilliard, OH. Position The Construction Assistant Project Manager works closely with the Construction Project Manager and project team to support the organization and execution of projects. This role assists with material coordination, purchasing, project documentation, and communication with subcontractors, vendors, and other construction partners. Responsibilities Process submittals Maintain project logs Manage change orders Prepare purchase orders Track equipment and material deliveries Maintain project documentation Support jobsite administrative needs Provide support to Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Commissioning teams, Safety Technicians, and other project partners to keep projects organized and progressing efficiently Experience, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent construction experience may also be considered Previous experience as a Construction PM Assistant, Project Engineer, or similar construction support role Previous experience in HVAC/R or mechanical construction is a plus Proficiency in ProCore, SmartSheets, and/or Google Sheets preferred Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication Compensation and Benefits Goyette Mechanical provides a competitive compensation package that includes a generous salary with bonus potential.
