Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting according to the plan of care and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, and report changes in resident condition
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting safety and comfort
- Perform accurate and timely documentation of care, assessments, and interventions; communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team during handoffs
- Monitor residents for safety, infection control, and patient skin integrity; respond to changes with appropriate escalation
- Collaborate with charge nurse and other staff to ensure continuity of care and adherence to care plans

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of New Mexico
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Local candidates preferred for this assignment
