Role Description This full-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role is based at a Massage Envy franchised location in the Charlotte Metro area. The therapist provides professional bodywork services, including customized therapeutic massage sessions tailored to clients’ individual needs and wellness goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, maintaining accurate treatment notes, and delivering consistent, high-quality services in alignment with Massage Envy protocols. The role also involves educating clients on stress management, self-care practices, and available services or memberships to support ongoing wellness. The therapist is expected to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards, collaborate with the location team, and contribute to a welcoming, client-focused environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong therapeutic skills in bodywork, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage. Candidates should possess expertise in specific modalities such as Shiatsu or related techniques, with a commitment to safe, effective practice. Candidates should possess skills in Stress Management coaching and the ability to integrate relaxation and wellness education into each session. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service abilities, including clear communication, empathy, and a client-centered approach. Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain), plus adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to perform the physical demands of repeated massage sessions.
