Ultrasound Technologist Permanent Role
The Ultrasound Technologist performs general diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient workflow in the imaging department.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general and limited specialty ultrasound exams per protocols.
- Explain procedures, obtain patient history, and ensure comfort and safety.
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality.
- Document studies and assist radiologists with interpretations and procedures.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance and equipment care.
Requirements
- ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist and/or RDMS, or registry eligible in Ultrasound.
- Current BCLS.
- Minimum one year of general ultrasound experience.
