• End Date/Duration: Ongoing, with 10-14 days per month
• Shift: 6am-6pm in the facility, 6pm-6am on-call (24-hour coverage)
• Hours/Week: Varies
• Employment Type: Contract
• Licensure/Certifications: BOARD CERTIFIED in Neonatology preferred or Board Eligible, NRP certified, and relevant clinical skills
• Experience: Prior neonatal ICU experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized care for neonates in a Level III NICU environment
• Manage respiratory issues including ventilator support and oscillators
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertions, spinal taps, exchange transfusions, and thermal cooling
• Support stabilization and transport of neonatal patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialist consultants
• Maintain detailed documentation in Cerner electronic health record system
• Ensure compliance with hospital and healthcare standards

What You Need:

• Required: Active nursing license, Neonatology certification (preferred), NRP certification, minimum 2 years NICU experience
• Preferred: Experience with advanced neonatal procedures, strong team collaboration skills
