Quick Facts:

• Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855
• Start Date: 08/05/2026 (orientation), then ongoing from 08/06/2026
• End Date/Duration: Ongoing; 10-14 days per month
• Shift: 6am-6pm in facility, 6pm-6am on-call, 24-hour schedule
• Hours per Week: Flexible based on schedule
• Employment Type: Per diem/Contract
• Licenses/Certifications: Board certified/Board eligible in Neonatology, NRP certification required
• Experience: Preferred neonatology experience, including intubation, chest tube placement, central lines, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusion, thermal cooling, ventilator management (oscillators, iNO)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide neonatal critical care in a Level III NICU environment
• Manage respiratory conditions using ventilators, oscillators, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertion, and paracentesis
• Stabilize infants for transport and coordinate with specialty teams (pediatrics, neurology, infectious disease)
• Contribute to a collaborative team providing high-quality neonatal care
• Support families through compassionate communication and intervention

What You Need:

• Valid Neonatology certification (board certified or eligible)
• Current NRP certification
• Prior neonatology experience preferred, including advanced procedures
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including day and on-call shifts
