Cardiac Nurse Manager

Cardiac Nurse Manager opportunity at a high‑performing East South Dakota hospital with 90+ beds. The role focuses on patient‑first cardiology care within a mission‑driven organization known for clinical excellence, a rigorous safety culture, and strong community trust. Responsibilities Lead a cohesive team of RNs, cardiovascular technologists, radiology technologists, and monitor technicians. Manage staffing and scheduling, orientation, and precepting of unit staff. Provide performance coaching, policy development, and budget and supply stewardship. Ensure accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement. Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, anesthesia, pharmacy, cardiac rehabilitation, case management, respiratory, PT/OT, and social work to deliver seamless door‑to‑balloon performance and safe handoffs. Guide throughput and champion zero‑harm goals for the catheterization laboratory. Qualifications Registered Nurse with critical care or interventional cardiology experience. Strong leadership and communication skills with evidence of team building and performance improvement. Knowledge of cardiology protocols, accreditation standards, and quality dashboard metrics.
