Energy & Project Finance Associate Attorney AmLaw 50 Opportunity Compensation$235,000 – $390,000+
Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Energy & Project Finance Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago .
This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney interested in sophisticated energy, infrastructure, and project finance transactions involving complex financing structures and major development projects.
Ideal Background• 3–6 years of project finance, energy, infrastructure, or related transactional experience
• Experience representing developers, sponsors, lenders, investors, or financial institutions in sophisticated project finance transactions
• Experience with renewable energy, conventional energy, infrastructure, or other large-scale development projects
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, financing documents, security documents, project agreements, and related transaction documents
• Experience with debt financing, acquisition financing, construction financing, or other structured project financings
• Renewable energy experience involving solar, wind, battery storage, or other energy transition projects is a plus
• Experience conducting due diligence and coordinating complex transaction closings
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
