Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR Tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience working in a hospital operating room setting.
• Ability to work a 10-hour operating room shift (start approximately 06:45, end approximately 17:15).
• Client requires adherence to facility policies and any applicable credentialing processes prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a busy hospital OR with varied surgical specialties.
• Additional certifications or advanced training in sterile processing or surgical instrumentation.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:45-17:15.
• 10-hour shift schedule.
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI hospital.
