Our clients trust us with their most valuable possessions so, we’re more than just a bit selective when it comes to hiring new team members.Job SummaryThe Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis – Sales & Revenue plays a key role in driving strategic decision-making by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful revenue forecasts and analyses and building scalable forecasting processes and frameworks to support a rapidly growing business. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this role will be responsible for leading revenue budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing sales results, and providing actionable insights into performance trends, challenges, and opportunities. This position offers frequent exposure to senior leadership and requires strong collaboration with sales, operations, accounting, and executive teams.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the development, maintenance, and refinement of revenue forecasts, budgets, and long-term projections including pipeline-to-revenue modeling and driver-based assumptionsAnalyze key sales and revenue metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across different business segmentsPartner cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance leaders to understand performance drivers and support strategic decision-makingPrepare and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting packages with clear insights and recommendations to executive leadershipDevelop models and reporting that provide visibility into sales performance, conversion rates, retention, and other relevant KPIsConduct variance analysis of actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods to highlight underlying driversSupport the annual planning process by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to build detailed and accurate revenue plansContinuously improve financial modeling, forecasting tools, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityProvide financial analysis support for new initiatives, strategic projects, and investment opportunitiesAct as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying areas of concern or growth opportunities in financial performanceProvide coaching, guidance, and support to FP&A analysts, including reviewing selected work products and fostering development of analytical skillsExperience and EducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred4–7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related rolesPrior experience in a high-growth, multi-location, sales-driven environmentStrong experience in revenue forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysisAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills requiredProficiency in SQL and experience navigating data warehouses to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasetsExperience with financial planning tools strongly preferredExperience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) and with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, or similar)Required Skills and AbilitiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendationsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executives and non-finance stakeholdersHigh attention to detail with a commitment to continuous process improvementAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlinesProven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making.Benefits SummaryHigh quality voluntary health, vision, disability, life, and dental insurance programs401K Matching PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid holidays, vacation, and sick leaveCorporate sponsored programs to enhance employee physical, financial, mental and emotional wellnessFinancial Solution ProgramEqual Employment Opportunity:Goosehead is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, guidelines, and regulations.
