Campus Payroll Clerk, High School

Primary Purpose: To maintain operations necessary for the preparation of all payrolls including biweekly, monthly, and special payroll periods.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Special Knowledge Skills:

Experience:

• Previous Office Experience Preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in preparing all payrolls including biweekly, monthly, and special payroll periods.
• Receive and audit time sheets and Kronos reports for all campus employees.
• Post all payroll changes including payroll deductions, salary changes, terminations, assignment changes, and new recommendations.
• Maintain physical and computerized files including payroll records, assignment changes, recommendations, and absent-from-duty reports.
• Communicate with the personnel department, payroll department, and with employees to ensure accuracy of information reported and to resolve payroll problems and inquiries.
• Relieve other office staff as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Copier, calculator, personal computer, typewriter, printer, fax machine, and shredder.
