This position provides high-quality nursing care to patients in our inpatient and emergency departments during the night shift.**Position Details*** Full-time position* Three 12-hour shifts per week* Night shift: 5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m.* Rotating weekends and holidays* Eligible for HCHS’s comprehensive benefits package## Qualifications**Key Responsibilities*** Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care* Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in the inpatient and emergency department settings* Administer medications and treatments as ordered* Monitor and document patients’ conditions and responses to care* Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of the healthcare team* Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition* Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control standards**What We’re Looking For*** Current Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or eligibility for Nebraska licensure* BLS, ACLS and other applicable certifications preferred or obtained within the required timeframe* Strong communication and critical-thinking skills* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rural healthcare environment* Previous inpatient or emergency nursing experience preferred**Ready to join the HCHS team?** View the complete position details, create an applicant account, and apply online: Visit our Careers page at harlancountyhealth.com *HCHS is an equal opportunity employer.****Harlan County Health – Close to Home.
