Employment Litigation Associate Attorney (4–6 Years) – California | Hybrid/Remote

Direct Counsel is partnering with a well-regarded law firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Employment practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their experience in labor & employment litigation while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment with strong mentorship and growth potential.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle a variety of employment litigation matters
- Manage cases from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Prepare and argue motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Assist with trial preparation and strategy
- Appear in court for hearings and proceedings as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 4–6 years of employment litigation experience
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
- Strong case management and organizational skills
- Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy abilities
- Trial experience is a plus
- Ability to attend in-person court appearances as needed
Note: Candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply. Title and compensation will align with relevant experience.
Compensation & Perks:
