Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities Serve as athletic trainer to the University intercollegiate athletic program on a daily basis as assigned. Perform administrative duties for the varsity athletic training program and the athletic training program as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Training. Serve as a preceptor for athletic training students in rotations. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the appropriate administrators. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree. Certification by the Board of Certification, Inc. Ability to work effectively as an athletic trainer with intercollegiate sports and with the University’s administration, faculty, staff, and students. Ability to clinically supervise undergraduate and graduate students in the athletic training program while providing athletic training services to intercollegiate and interscholastic athletics. Desired Master's Degree in Health, Exercise Science, Sport Management, and/or Athletic Training. Athletic training experience in football, basketball, baseball, and/or soccer in the college and/or high school setting. * Prior to hiring, the final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation, including information obtained from social media and other internet sources. #J-18808-Ljbffr
