Registered Nurse RN Coordinator Stroke Program

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse (RN) Stroke Coordinator at HCA Clear Lake, you will coordinate, develop, and implement the Stroke Program, ensuring protocol compliance, analyzing stroke data, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Coordinate, develop, and implement the HCA Clear Lake Hospital Stroke Program and ensure stroke protocol compliance. Enter and analyze stroke data and reporting as requested. Provide comprehensive education on stroke intervention, prevention, and rehabilitation for inpatients and the community. Ensure reporting deadlines for data submission are always met. Collaborate with Nursing Management and the Education Department to develop and implement staff and physician education. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN). Registered Nurse, BSN preferred. Two years of experience in a critical care setting preferred.
