Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a skilled nursing facility in Mount Vernon, IL.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Ability to manage caseloads and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift Hours: 08:30–16:30. Shift Pattern: 5x8. Floating: Split assignment across facilities within the local region (candidate must be willing to travel between sites). Assignment Length: 12 weeks.
