The Retail Assistant Manager supports daily store operations by supervising a small team and ensuring excellent customer service. This role focuses on managing inventory, driving sales, training staff, and maintaining store standards to create a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a small team of 1-5 members to achieve store goals
- Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve conflicts effectively
- Manage inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels
- Drive sales through strategic sales management and visual merchandising
- Conduct staff training and development to enhance team performance
- Handle cash transactions and maintain cashier accuracy
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to store policies
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail management
