Program Manager/Chief of Staff

Overview The Program Manager/Chief of Staff (CoS) to the VP of Technology Infrastructure serves as a strategic partner, program leader, and operational integrator across the Infrastructure organization. This role is responsible for driving execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment across compute, network, storage, shared services engineering, collaboration, end‑user services, ITOM, ITSM, and ServiceNow platforms. Responsibilities Strategy, Roadmap & Portfolio Management: Own and coordinate the end‑to‑end Infrastructure roadmap. Drive roadmap definition, prioritization, and sequencing. Maintain integrated initiative view, dependencies, and milestones. Establish governance processes and KPIs. Executive Communications & Reporting: Develop executive presentations and reporting. Provide status, risks, and mitigation updates. Translate technical initiatives into business messaging. Program & Project Oversight: Oversee cross‑functional programs. Manage risks (including audit response), dependencies, and execution alignment. Leadership Support & Cadence Management: Manage staff meetings, agendas, and follow‑ups. Coordinate all‑hands and leadership forums. Support operating model maturity across teams. Events & Travel Coordination: Oversee the planning of leadership events, offsites, and travel logistics partnering with area Administrative Assistant. Vendor & Contract Management: Coordinate an approach used across Infrastructure for hardware, software, and services contracts partnering with Infrastructure tower leads, procurement and IT Finance point persons. Assist with the management of renewals and vendor relationships. Cross‑Functional Alignment: Ensure coordination across infrastructure domains. Support transformation and automation initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities. Maintain documentation and tracking across initiatives. Additional Responsibilities Decision support and prioritization, stakeholder engagement, change management, budget and planning support, special projects. Knowledge & Experience Strong ability to promote, champion change; start with ‘yes’. Innovative leader with the ability to question status quo, influence change and provide forward‑thinking. Expertly operate with ambiguity and limited information. Strong soft skills and judgment; understands that leadership and people skills are critical success factors. Effectively, clearly and concisely communicate in all methods (verbal, written, presentation) to various levels of the organization. Continuous learner; quickly adapt to changing environment and personalities. Leading understanding of project management principles. Demonstrated ability and experience (5+ years) managing large and significant projects and/or small to medium programs (typically $4M-$10M). Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, or related field or equivalent work experience required. Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. Salary Range: $100,070 – $157,470 USD. Salary offer may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and skill level. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of hours to be regularly worked. Voya Retirement Plan – employer paid cash balance retirement plan (4%). Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year.
