Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Caregiver

Day Shifts Available | State Client Assignments

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care for our State Clients throughout Maryland's Eastern Shore.

We currently have an immediate need for day shift caregivers to serve our State Clients. If you're looking for consistent daytime hours while making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay Rate:

$17.50 per hour for State Client assignments

Current immediate openings are for daytime State Client cases.

Position Summary:

As a CNA Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in the comfort of their homes. Your role will help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while offering peace of mind to their families.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting 
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and positioning 
• Monitor and report changes in client condition 
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed 
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with state guidelines 
• Offer companionship and emotional support 
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment 
• Accurately document care provided 
• Follow all Comfort Keepers policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required 
• Valid driver's license 
• Reliable transportation 
• Current auto insurance 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Ability to assist with lifting and transferring clients as needed 
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
