Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns independently or alongside medical staff
• Providing education to patients and families regarding wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing therapies and medications in accordance with practice regulations
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Education

• Completion of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to secure these within 90 days)
