Software QA Engineer

Salary: $165,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus three years of experience in the offered role or a computer software-related occupation.
• At least two years of experience with each of the following: Playwright automation testing for Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D; AWS S3; MySQL, Snowflake, and Kinesis; Agile methodologies; Jenkins CI/CD; Blazemeter; Postman; and Scrum frameworks.
• Experience with Python and Java for test automation scripting, and GitHub for version control of test scripts.
• Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States is required if hired.

• Develop and run software tests to identify defects and their causes, and test system changes before implementation.
• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, user acceptance, database, integration, usability, negative, and performance testing; automate tests to improve efficiency.
• Identify, analyze, document, track, and report software defects using bug-tracking tools, and maintain a database of known issues.
• Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, procedures, and defect reports to support repeatable testing and compliance with standards.
• Analyze user requirements, workflows, and system capabilities to improve functionality and meet quality standards.
• Identify and resolve software issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges while helping ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to resolve defects, support sprint goals and release cycles, and maintain software stability.
• Participate in code and test-case reviews to improve software quality and maintainability.
• Use automation, cloud storage, database and integration technologies, CI/CD tools, API testing tools, and performance-testing platforms to support testing and analysis.
