As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that required an enhanced presence and personal protective services./ppstrongJob Description/strong/ppstrongLevel I Security Officers/strong shall perform all security-related tasks assigned to them by the Company, including but not limited to:/pulliMonitor surveillance and information systems, including CCTV and fire alarms;/liliRespond to breaches in security and/or safety standards, as outline in the applicable post orders;/liliOperate TBX telephone systems;/liliRespond to emergency calls;/liliDispatch security and fire personnel;/liliAssist security and fire personnel in the field;/liliMaintain security and other equipment and report equipment and system malfunctions;/liliGreet, assist and direct customers, visitors, contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc.;/liliIssue appropriate temporary badges, passes, etc.;/liliMaintain visitor logs and other records;/liliPatrol and monitor Site for safety concerns and suspicious activity;/liliReport and respond to safety concerns and suspicious activity;/liliEscort customers, visitors, contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc., as directed;/liliLock and unlock doors and gates;/liliPrepare incident reports, logs and forms;/liliIssue parking citations when required;/liliErect traffic control devices and handle traffic safety issues;/liliInspect critical equipment, machines and/or instruments as directed;/liliAssist with testing and maintenance of fire equipment;/liliIdentify and report security risks;/liliMonitor access to facilities and secure/restricted areas; and/liliIdentify all personnel found in secure/restricted areas./li/ulpstrongWork Environment and Schedule/strong/pulliJob operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors./liliPosition requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities./liliOpen availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs)./liliWork various shifts and Holidays as assigned./li/ulpstrongVeterans/strong/ppInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
