Manufacturing Machine Operator - 12-Hour Night Shift

Ensuring quality, reliable products while creating new additions to our product lines to support the electrical experts within building construction, maintenance, and remodeling as well as homeowners across the United States. With several machines in each plant that contribute to another leg of product manufacturing that develop each team member's skill and development. This is a 12-hour shift on 2-2-3 rotating schedule.ResponsibilitiesRun production equipment to produce high-quality electrical copper wire.Learn the various aspects of production processes, such as drawing, bunching, and extrusion.Utilize computer controls to operate production equipment.Run production equipment to prescribed guides to achieve daily production goals efficiently.Perform hourly quality checks to ensure product meets quality standards.Work to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and all teammates, always.Maintain good housekeeping around lines, production floor, and communal areas.When unclear, ask question(s) to obtain a full and clear understanding of the task and/or standard at hand.Assist where needed on the production floor as assigned by leadership completing duties other than producing product on your regularly assigned equipment.Other duties assigned.RequirementsMust be able to read, write, and interpret production orders in English.Ability to obtain a forklift certification.Operators must be able to follow instructions and work well with others.Must be 18 years of age or older.Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical.Working ConditionsOperators are constantly exposed to elevated level of noise and several types of materials including nylon, PVC, machine fluids, cleaning products, and more.
