Construction Sales Representative

Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our presence within designated construction territories, focusing on lead generation and prospecting. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management, customer service, and ongoing communication. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase our solutions’ value propositions to potential clients. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through deal closing, including negotiation and upselling opportunities. Utilize CRM software and sales management systems proficiently to track leads, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance metrics. Coordinate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that generate new business opportunities and enhance brand visibility. Conduct territory analysis to identify new market segments, customer needs, and competitive landscape insights for strategic growth. Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings, industry trends, and technological advancements relevant to construction sales. Experience Proven success in B2B sales, especially within the construction or related industries, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Management experience in leading sales teams or managing key accounts is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in outside and inside sales environments, including cold calling, prospecting, and direct client communication. Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and customer relationship management (CRM). Experience with territory management, lead generation strategies, and remote (virtual) sales environments. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities to foster long-term client relationships. Technical sales experience involving product demos, upselling techniques, and deal closing processes. Analysis skills for evaluating market data, customer needs assessments, and competitive positioning strategies.
