We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant (Part-time/ Seasonal) to join our growing team. This position is closely related to our Accounting and Tax Practice, focusing on small businesses and mid-sized companies across a range of industries, such as Real Estate, Construction, E-Commerce, Healthcare, Law Firms, and other relevant industries. Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities A typical day as a Senior Tax Accountant might include: Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations. Prepare and/or review tax returns for S Corporation, Partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns. Prepare and review monthly financial transactions. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet, and P&L. Review and verify complex account balances, ensuring financial integrity, and assisting with the month-end closing process. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred). 3–5 years of progressive tax and accounting experience. 3–5 years of experience with accounting and tax software, including but not limited to Drake Tax, QuickBooks Online, or similar. 3–5 years of experience working with construction, real estate, and other small businesses. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and clients. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship. Compensation Hourly Rate plus bonus: $25–55 per hour, depending on experience, location, and level. The position also includes a generous annual bonus.
