These service techs will be supporting the new data centers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Their day to day is focused on keeping critical infrastructure operating. They will respond to service calls, alarms, or system issues and work handson with PLCcontrolled systems tied to power and facility infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting I/O, validating signals from field devices, checking control panels and wiring, and verifying that sensors, breakers, and meters are communicating correctly. They will support commissioning and startup activities for new buildings or equipment, helping with I/O checkout, system testing, and startup verification. Will make PLC or HMI adjustmentssuch as setpoints, alarms, or configuration changesbut not programming from scratch. Will be fully hands on at the data centers where safety, procedures, and documentation are extremely important. Main panel shop is in Altoona and is actively winning more quotes for panels for Cedar Rapids - these techs will support the installing, wire, programming, testing, and commissioning the control panels that keep power, cooling, and monitoring systems running

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, IA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
