Flatbed Company Driver (W-2) - Bear, DE
HMD Trucking is actively seeking experienced OTR Solo CDL A Flatbed Drivers to transport freight nationwide. We offer a competitive mileage pay starting at $0.65 per mile, with additional performance bonuses of $0.05 CPM for safety and productivity, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
What We Provide:
- A modern fleet of over 500 vehicles equipped with APUs, inverters, sleeper cabs, and removable rider seats.
- Full maintenance support to keep your truck in top shape.
- Payment for every haul, whether you tarp or not.
- Regular home time and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).
Qualified drivers must possess a Class A CDL and have a minimum of 12 months of OTR flatbed driving experience. Join HMD for competitive compensation, dependable freight, and a team that prioritizes your success and safety.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.65 base + $0.5 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Load Pay
- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
