Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for their Durham, NC/Remote location.
Requirements:
- VMware
- Kubernetes
- AWS/GCP cloud
- 6-10 years designing and operating mid to large-scale enterprise or cloud environments
- Strong experience with VMware, AWS, and GCP private cloud platforms
- Hands-on Kubernetes operations with workload deployment using Helm and ArgoCD
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, Ruby, or Scala
- Experience building standardized OS images and deployment frameworks for Unix/Linux
- Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform reliability, performance, and security
- Comfortable working across bare metal, virtual machines, and cloud-native environments
- Familiarity with automation frameworks for OS image creation and configuration management
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills in engineering teams
