Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM. Block scheduling requests considered but not guaranteed. Floating to other units as needed.

Highlights:

• High-acuity 64-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population from newborns through geriatrics
• Full-spectrum emergency care including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialized equipment experience including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Unit features 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 2 triage areas, 6 super track, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 behavioral health beds

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (all state licenses must be verified through Nursys)
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Pediatric patient care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
