A/R Specialist

Law firm is seeking an A/R Specialist to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

• Process and accurately post client payments, including checks, ACH, wires, credit cards, and electronic payments
• Maintain client account records and ensure payments are applied correctly
• Support daily cash receipts, deposits, reconciliations, and payment research
• Work with Accounting, Billing, and Collections to resolve discrepancies and posting issues
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection and cash-flow efforts
• Handle NSF transactions, refunds, and payment-related inquiries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 3-5 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office required
• Experience in a law firm preferred
• Familiarity with client billing and collections preferred
