Position Summary The CNC Machinist / Mechanical Assembler will play a critical role in manufacturing precision components and assembling Rehabwheel’s rehabilitation systems. This individual will work closely with engineering and leadership teams to accelerate product development and support the transition from prototype to scalable manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and related machine tools. Produce precision components from engineering drawings and CAD models. Select tooling, load programs, adjust offsets, and monitor machine performance. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools. Assemble mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies and final products. Perform test fits, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and quality standards. Document work according to company procedures and manufacturing requirements. Qualifications Experience operating CNC machinery and producing precision parts. Strong machining and mechanical assembly capabilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD prints. Experience with quality-control and inspection procedures. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred. Experience in medical devices, robotics, aerospace, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
