Role : Business Execution - Commercial Loan Specialist
Location : Roanoke, VA (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 Months (Contract-to-Hire)
Interview: Only one 30 min round.
Eligibility: BBA/MBA; 0-6 years of experience preferred, not more.

Introduction

Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Wholesale Operations and Syndicated Lending teams. This hybrid position offers a mix of in-office and remote work, providing a balanced work environment. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced lending environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration.
• Good communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• Proficient in Excel for reconciliations, interest calculations, and fee schedules.

Training shall be provided for about 4-6 weeks.

Desired Skills (Nice to have):

• 4 years of working experience relevant to loans, trading, syndication, underwriting, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with account numbers, rates, and dates.
• Proficient in Excel for handling reconciliations, interest accruals, and fees.
• Self-motivated and driven to learn quickly and efficiently.
• Experience with loan processing related to syndicated lending, underwriting, and comprehensive knowledge of conventional, commercial, and government loans.
• Experience with Loan IQ or similar tools such as AFS, ACDS, Flexcube, or Flexpay.
• Background in mathematics, statistics, finance, or marketing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process trades and communicate with lenders and borrowers.
• Handle advances, apply interest and principal payments, and reprice loans.
• Perform reconciliations and calculate interest accruals.
• Review documentation and ensure accuracy before sending trades for approval.
