Construction And Maintenance Technician IIThe Construction and Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the safe operation, installation, and maintenance of company system infrastructure and facilities, as well as emergency response within the service territory.Your role in our success:The Construction and Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the safe operation, installation, and maintenance of company system infrastructure and facilities, as well as emergency response within the service territory.What you'll be doing:Operates and maintains gas pipelines and facilitiesMaintains facilities (operations centers, compressor stations, etc.)Leads or assists pipeline maintenance activities (leaks, cathodic protection, valves)Proficiently operates heavy equipment and may train junior techniciansConducts inspections (including vehicle inspections)Documents compliance tasks in work systemsManages 811 tickets for routine and emergency workMaintains truck inventory and organizationPerforms facility/equipment maintenanceAssists with material procurementSupports peak shaving processesWho you are:Education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: 2 years underground utility experience (mechanical/industrial)License: CDL required (Class A or B)Strong safety focusProficient mechanical and electrical knowledgeHeavy equipment operation skillsBasic computer and communication skillsAbility to wear required PPEWhat makes us great:At the heart of our Company is a dedication to delivering energy that drives progress.
