Drs. Engen & Pizzini, a leading periodontal and orthodontic practice in Spokane, WA, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team. Drs. Engen & Pizzini is a distinguished Periodontal/Orthodontic practice committed to excellence in oral care. We focus on building lasting relationships with our patients and collaborating effectively with referring dental offices. Our practice offers a supportive environment where you will be empowered to make a meaningful impact. We are a busy northside practice that invests in our team by providing the latest technology and ongoing professional development.
TitleDental hygienist
Job DescriptionPerform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing with precision.
Provide comprehensive periodontal maintenance.
Administer dental anesthesia as needed.
Take and process dental X-rays, including periapical X-rays.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and dental care.
Collaborate professionally with colleagues and the dental team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Salary Rangepart-time $57 - $60 per hour

Shift & ScheduleTuesday and Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM
An occasional fourth day may be required as needed.
The office is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Requirements- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Washington State.
Proven experience in a dental hygienist role.
Proficiency in scaling and root planing and administering dental anesthesia.
Current CPR Certification.
Strong knowledge of electronic chart documentation.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to interact professionally with patients and collaborate with a team.
Passionate about your profession, reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented.
Preferences- Dentrix
Proficiency with Dentrix software.
Experience in a periodontal or specialty dental office setting.
