Department 34601 High Point Medical Center - Nursing: Admission Discharge Transition Unit Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information 3 12 hour shifts weekly 7am-7pm Weekend rotation Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Location The Admission Discharge Unit is a six‑bed unit that takes med‑surg level of care patients who are either waiting to be admitted (from ED, direct admit, or PACU) or discharged. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Greater than 1 year of RN experience Less than 1 year of RN experience - Please refer to postings that have New Graduate RN in the job title. Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
