Take the first step toward growing your career by joining us. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Basic familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. Requires certification in Basic Life Support Provider within six months of employment. A basic understanding of concepts of microbiology, human anatomy and physiology is preferred. A working knowledge of the following equipment is preferred: fiberoptic and video endoscopy systems, automatic sterilizing systems, blood pressure, cardiac and pulse oximeter monitors, suction and oxygen set-ups, wheelchairs and stretchers and computers. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assists physician during endoscopy procedures using aseptic technique. Ensures set-up of procedure with supplies and equipment. Uses aseptic technique cleans, disinfects and sterilizes all equipment, scopes and instruments. Assists nursing personnel with patient care under their supervision.
