HR Coordinator

Evers & Sons is looking for a talented, ready‑to‑learn HR Coordinator who will aid and facilitate HR processes such as employment, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training, and employee relations. Position Details: Entry Level, Non‑Exempt. Qualifications High school diploma and/or a bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university in a relevant field 1‑2 years of human resources or related experience (preferred) HR certification: SHRM‑CP or PHR (preferred) Available for 15% travel per year Bilingual: Spanish/English Required Experience & Skills Positive attitude, results‑driven, and excellent interpersonal skills Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Clear communication, both verbal and written Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; ability to research employee questions and determine escalation Ability to work under pressure and multitask by recognizing priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Essential Functions Complete all HR functions related to onboarding new employees and offboarding terminated employees Collaborate with supervisors, employees, collection sites, and vendors to coordinate pre‑employment and random drug tests Assist with managing the drug screen program compliance across multiple sites Assist with running and verifying various types of background checks Assist with entering training and uploading documentation into the learning management system Assist with researching training topics and creating training material Assist with DOT functions related to drivers and vehicle documentation Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding company policies, procedures, and programs Ensure records of personnel transactions such as new hires, drivers, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations are obtained Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned Notify the supervisor and address potential safety hazards in a timely fashion Be professional and courteous in dealings with customers and/or vendors Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Follow all company policies and procedures Evers & Sons Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
