Industrial Electrician

Job Title: Industrial Electrician Job Type: Full-Time Location: Panama City, Florida Day/Hours: Must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights and weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Primary Duties Include Perform all onsite work in a safe manner adhering to all Berg Pipe safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry. Identify and rectify unsafe conditions for themselves and others. Receive instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance. Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determine best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems. Use AB and Siemens PLC software to troubleshoot and repair down equipment in a timely manner. Be knowledgeable in the install and troubleshooting of all types and sizes of AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters and motor drives, conduit and fittings, soldering and replacing parts. Safely operate common industrial electrician equipment including but not limited to conduit bender, drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, man lift, forklift, overhead crane, etc. Operate electronic and electrical test equipment (Megohmmeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, amp meter, laptop, etc.). Using Maximo software, log all job tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily. Perform other miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.
