MEMBER SPECIALIST

Position Summary Provide member service and ensure a positive shopping experience by maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting Sam’s Club products and services, and guiding members on self‑service technology. Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures. Follow safety standards and conduct safety sweeps. Handle merchandise properly, report unsafe situations, and maintain entrance and exit areas. Secure and safeguard club assets by observing potential criminal activity, maintaining required documentation, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices. Assist in training and coaching Member Frontline Services associates on processes, new technology, and program rollouts. Identify shrinkage and damage and zone, arrange, and organize merchandise. Work collaboratively with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.
