Are you a dedicated RMA or CMA looking for a meaningful role in specialty care? Do you thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where patient care is the top priority? If so, NMC Health invites you to join our award-winning, nurse-driven healthcare team in the Wichita Metro Area.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for this position who will have either Registered Medical Assistant (RMA ) or Certified Medical Assistant ( CMA ) to join our Specialty Clinics for our Newton KS (800 Medical Center Dr.) location. In this role, youll be responsible for providing essential nursing services in a busy specialty practice while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Your duties will include: (not all inclusive)
Proficiency in obtaining VS
Assisting with procedures
Obtaining/processing lab specimens
Scheduling procedures
Providing patient education
Obtaining patient triage
Updating the medical record
Chart prep

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Registered/Certified Medical Assistant program
Clinic experience preferred
Surgery, scheduling experience preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow provider instructions
Licensure, registration or certification:
Current Kansas RMA/CMA certification required
Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support required
