Job Description
### Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit as a Travel RN!

Job Description:

- Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours preferred
- Start Date : December 14

Unit Details:

- Number of Beds : 36
- Patient Ratios :
- 1:3 AM
- 1:4 AM
- 1:4 PM
- 1:5 PM (with patient care techs)
- Staffing :
- Total RN based care
- Unit secretaries available 7 AM - 7 PM
- Equipment :
- BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas
- Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
- Documentation System : Meditech

Scheduling Requirements:

- FT Staff: 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
- PT Staff: 48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
- PRN Staff: Flexible shifts available

Patient Experience Goals:

- Bedside shift report
- Hourly rounding
- Daily leadership rounds

Certifications Required:

- BLS
- ACLS

Key Skills:

- Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
- Management of vasoactive drips

Typical Procedures:

- Central Line or PICC line placement
- Chest tube placements

Team Environment:

- Positive attitude and a team player mentality are vital
- Floating opportunities to the Telemetry Unit

Dress Code:

- Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black bottoms
- Black or charcoal grey jackets available, with optional unit-specific jackets

Unit Recognition:
