Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, encompassing comprehensive physical exams and complete reviews of medical histories
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through detailed analysis of lab results and imaging studies
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, involving medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients about their recovery

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for completion of clinical rotations in surgical settings

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
