Wellness Coach

Duties: Bilingual Well-Being Navigator – Orlando, FL The Well-Being Navigator will build trust and rapport with Disney employees and leaders at their dedicated worksite to help facilitate culture change in all areas of well-being. This client-facing role will be onsite full-time with the ability to travel to any of Disney’s properties at Disney’s request. The navigator will serve as a wellness benefit concierge, providing referrals and education that support both emotional and physical well-being. The navigator is committed to addressing the employee’s barriers to care including social determinants of health by helping the employees navigate and schedule all healthcare appointments or connect to community resources to meet their needs. Qualifications Haitian Creole Bilingual to support Disney’s employees (Cast Members) Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, or health related field Minimum of 2 years’ experience in workplace health and wellness programming Understanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural communities Highly sociable and comfortable initiating conversations Natural ability to connect with people Work independently with little supervision Ability to maintain member confidentiality Organized, using internal resources to find answers Strong team player, capable of accomplishing program goals Schedule Availability Be able to accommodate at least one of the below schedules. This is a temp assignment for 11-17 weeks aiming for a 9/8/2026 start - 4 days of training 8 am – 4 pm EST Mon, Tu, and Thurs & 9am – 5 pm EST Wed & Fri 11 am – 7 pm Tu- Sat 8 am – 4 pm EST Mon-Fri Must reside local for a reasonable daily commute to Orlando, FL Responsibilities Customer Engagement Proactive and responsive to employee needs in a friendly and professional manner Provide referrals and social support to appropriate well‑being resources, programs, and health care services Connect to local services and community resources to address specific needs Follow-up with employees on referrals to ensure individual needs have been met Engaging thoughtfully to help individuals that don’t know they need care or exactly what care they need Complete required record keeping for tracking results and provide feedback on program goals and objectives in a timely manner Schedule onsite Employee Assistance Program (EAP) appointments Schedule telephonic coaching (for those eligible) Wellness initiative campaigns communication Meet with local leaders and offer to speak at their team meetings to help bring awareness to the Navigator role and other programming as needed Distribution of collateral to local leaders, resource centers, and other areas Nimble and flexible nature required to engage the evolving needs of the population Well-Being Navigator Overview Wellness benefit concierge Provide referrals and education that support total well‑being needs Connect members to programs or resources to address specific needs Help members download apps and register for programs Help resolve members’ questions & concerns (may have to transfer to another department) Guide members to Disney’s online portal to enroll in medical benefit Typical Day Setup table with tablecloth & collateral (brochures) Proactively ask members questions to engage them Explain your role & how you can help If you are not in a busy location, put up the “be right back sign” and walk around to find members to engage Electronically document education and referrals provided in the navigation form Skills Top 5 qualities Bilingual Friendly with the ability to engage members into conversation casually Experience with corporate wellness resources like employee assistance program (EAP) Independent and reliable worker Flexible work schedule - Not looking to take any time off during temp assignment Training – 4-5 days – at home except for on-property for the backstage tour Overview Disney Matrix partners How to document Tour backstage work location Interview process Virtual via video At least 2 people will make up interview panel Education Educational requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health and wellness field Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, or social work Experience with direct member communication (written and verbal) Languages English Read Write Speak Haitian Read Write Speak #J-18808-Ljbffr
