Registered Behavior Technician in Central Falls, RI

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working alongside dedicated professionals to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a vibrant educational environment. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll be integral in delivering personalized, one-on-one behavioral support to students throughout various school programs-including current academic terms, Extended School Year (ESY), and the upcoming New School Year (NSY).


You'll help create positive changes for young learners each day, with the unique chance to participate in summer sessions and become part of a supportive educational team as the school assigns 1:1 RBTs in ASD classrooms. This role offers a consistent and engaging workweek with 35 hours during ESY (Monday-Thursday, 8am-12pm), transitioning to a full-time 40-hour schedule in the fall.


Qualifications/Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children or adolescents, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (preferred)
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and adaptability
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
• Capacity to work independently until BCBA supervision resumes in the fall

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to students in ASD classrooms
• Implement individualized treatment plans and track progress
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a supportive learning environment
• Collect and document data on student behavior and program effectiveness
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions

This contract offers reliable hours throughout the school year, including a valuable summer work opportunity. There will be periods without BCBA supervision until fall, at which point supervision and broader team integration will resume.
