Details Med Specialty Step Down unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week Cares for a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact (eNLC) license Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Med/Surg or Step Down experience required ICU experience and ACLS certification preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration Additional Information Provides direct nursing care, documents patient responses, administers medications, and monitors IV infusions and blood products Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Communicates care plans with patients and families and coordinates discharge planning Delegates tasks to support staff as needed Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Compliance and credentialing deadlines are strictly enforced with no flexibility for start date delays American Traveler Job ID P-771960.
