Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active New Mexico physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. All clinical staff assigned in New Mexico must complete state fingerprinting before hire. Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while results are pending but must be supervised. Each agency must have an account with the New Mexico Department of Health and submit clinicians via the NM DOH portal (ORI code NM920160z). All required certifications must be submitted at time of application; client may require additional certifications. Refer to the LPNT checklist for current requirements. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience treating post-operative, orthopedic, and medically complex adult inpatients preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 08:00–17:00. Orientation held weekly on Mondays. Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel status.
